Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Software Engineer Summer 2026 Intern  In this role, you will analyze requirements, write test scripts, and develop workflows  The successful candidate will have basic experience and/or knowledge of one or more of the following computer programming languages:
Python, C  , Java, and familiarity with Computer Science principles, Digital Electronics principles, and AI productivity tools

Must be a US Citizen;  this position will require a government security clearance

* Enrolled in a bachelor's degree program majoring in an engineering or a related field

Basic proficiency in one or more of the following computer programming languages:
Python, C  , Java

Familiarity with Computer Science principles

Familiarity with Digital Electronics principles

Familiarity with AI productivity tools

Experience with Microsoft Office applications

Ability to obtain security clearance

** Pay Rate:
** The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York  excluding most major metropolitan areas , Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $31,616    $77,788  For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location  Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only  Lockheed Martin considers factors such as  but not limited to  scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer
