Minimum qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

* 8 years of experience in software development.

* 5 years of experience testing and launching software products.

* 5 years of experience working with storage systems and products.

* 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.

Preferred qualifications:

* Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.

* 8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.

* 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.

* 3 years of experience working in a global organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects.

* Experience with high-performance storage systems or devices, including large-scale deployment, management and monitoring utilities, and NVMe firmware/driver/system software, working with suppliers and manufacturers.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $197,000-$291,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

* Collaborate with internal customers such as Cloud, Search, File/Object storage teams, etc.) and external vendors to enable timely onboarding of new storage systems and a flexible portfolio strategy.

* Lead evaluation and development of new flash storage technologies, standards, drivers, health monitors, and storage management solutions.

* Provide technical leadership and direction for projects while working closely with cross-functional teams. Design, develop, and review systems designs and code from peers, within the scope of the broader area.
