Front-End Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Front‑End Engineer for a Contract with a client in Elk Grove, CA/Sunnyvale, CA(Hybrid). Candidates must have strong React expertise while implementing intuitive UI components and optimizing front‑end performance.

$55/hour to $58/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

• Develop and maintain modern front‑end components using React, HTML5, CSS, ES6+, and Type Script.
• Translate UX/UI mockups into high‑quality, responsive, and accessible user interfaces.
• Build and integrate with RESTful and Graph
  
  QL APIs to deliver seamless application functionality.
• Optimize front‑end performance for speed, scalability, and cross‑browser compatibility.
• Participate in code reviews, write clean and testable code, and contribute to continuous improvement of development practices.
• Deploy and maintain front‑end applications on cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP, leveraging Docker and Kubernetes.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 8–10 years of professional front‑end development experience.
• Strong proficiency in React, Type Script, and modern JavaScript (ES6+) with proven experience building responsive UI components.
• Hands‑on experience deploying and maintaining front‑end applications on cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP, with familiarity in Docker and Kubernetes.
