Meta is seeking a highly skilled Engineer to join our Infra Silicon Architecture team, focusing on testing, validation, and build flow infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a background in software development, testing methodologies, and experience with build tools such as Buck or Makefile. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust testing frameworks, ensuring the quality and reliability of our architecture function and performance models.

ASIC Engineer, Test and Build Infrastructure Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks for our software products
• Collaborate with teams to identify testing requirements and develop test plans for models
• Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and system tests to ensure software quality
• Create and maintain build scripts using Buck or Makefile to automate the build process
• Optimize build times and improve overall build efficiency
• Troubleshoot and debug issues related to testing and build infrastructure
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in software testing and build automation

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience in platform development, with a focus on testing and build infrastructure
• Programming skills in languages such as C++
• Knowledge of build tools such as Buck, Makefile, or Maven
• Familiarity with computer architecture

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with testing frameworks such as JUnit, PyUnit, or NUnit
• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
• Hardware modeling/Design Verification
• Proven track record of success in problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
