Front End Developer, Web Developer
Akkodis is seeking a Front-End Engineer for a Contract with a client in Sunnyvale, CA (Hybrid). Candidates must have strong React expertise to develop responsive UI components and collaborate closely with designers to translate mockups into optimized, production‑ready code.
Rate Range: $55/hour to $60/hour; the rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Front End Engineer job responsibilities include:- Develop and maintain responsive front‑end components using React, HTML5, CSS, ES6, and Type Script.
- Translate UI/UX mockups into functional, visually appealing, and accessible user interfaces.
- Build and integrate with RESTful and Graph
QL APIs to support dynamic application functionality. - Optimize front‑end performance to ensure fast, scalable, and high‑quality user experiences.
- Participate in code reviews, write testable code, and contribute to continuous improvement of development practices.
- Deploy and maintain applications on cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) using Docker and Kubernetes while adhering to security best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 3+ years of professional experience in front‑end development.
- Strong proficiency in React, Type Script, HTML5, CSS, and modern JavaScript (ES6+) with a proven ability to build scalable, responsive user interfaces.
- Experience integrating front‑end applications with RESTful and Graph
QL APIs, along with cloud deployment experience on AWS or GCP using Docker/Kubernetes.

Pay Details:$55.00 to $60.00 per hour
