The Engineering & Technology organization is a highly dynamic and growing organization that plays a vital role in providing mission‑critical intelligence solutions on a variety of world‑class satellite, deep space exploration, missile, and classified special programs.
The candidate will become a member of a creative, high‑tempo, collaborative, cross‑functional, dynamic and multidisciplinary THAAD interceptor flight software (FSW) team. This team performs the analysis, design, development, and test of the embedded flight software and the real‑time, Hardware‑In‑The‑Loop (HWIL) missile testbed. Opportunities are available to participate in all elements/steps of the software development cycles.
- Requires an Engineering BS degree and/or MS degree combined with related experience commensurate with the position.
- Must have experience in Object Oriented programming and C++.
- Experience with a scripting language.
- US Citizenship and the ability to obtain/maintain a Secret clearance.
- Possesses current DoD Secret clearance.
- Experience in software development and testing.
- Proficient in Linux.
- Experience with Perl, Python, XML, shell, etc.
- Familiar with HW/SW integration.
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work RemotelyOnsite Full‑time:
The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five‑day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Pay Rate (California, Massachusetts, New York, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC)The annual base salary range for this position is $76,500 - $134,895. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month;
accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
