Security Officer - Tech Site
Garda World Security Services is hiring a Concierge Security Officer for our tech site in San Jose, CA. This part‑time position focuses on customer service and security at a high‑profile tech campus.
Responsibilities- Customer service duties such as welcoming, verifying identity, and guiding visitors
- Manage access control and conduct regular patrols to identify potential risks
- Inspect security equipment and report maintenance needs
- Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
- Answer questions in person or by phone
- Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
- Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- High school diploma or GED, with documentation available
- State security license and 32‑hour BSIS security training (additional training may be provided during hiring)
- Valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record
- At least 21 years of age
- Pass an extensive screening process
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Basic phone and computer skills
- At least one year of security experience (security, military, or law‑enforcement experience is a plus)

San Jose, CA - Schedule:
16 hours per week, typically Saturday/Sunday 2:00 p.m.–10:30 p.m. - Competitive hourly wage of $23/hour (daily pay available for employees)
