Security Guard - Events Team

• Location:
  
  Sunnyvale (Main Campus), Mountain View, and San Jose, CA
• Schedule:
  
  8 - 12 hours per shift;
  Flexible and available to work any day of the week and any shift
• Compensation: $23 per hour

• Must be articulate and professional when interacting with guests, the events team (event owners, coordinators), and security staff
• Strong interpersonal skills; this is a guest services type role
• Manage access control
• Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks
• Inspect security equipment and report maintenance needs
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
• Answer questions in person or by phone
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
• Escalate any incident appropriately via radio or Pixel to GSOC (Global Security Ops Center) or on-site security
• Read maps to help direct guests throughout the campus

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Provide documentation of HS Diploma or GED
• State security license and additional BSIS 32-hour trainings (additional trainings can be obtained during the hiring process)
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Valid California driver license and clean driving record
• 6 months security experience preferred
• Be able to pass an extensive screening process
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Proficient in basic phone and computer skills
• Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience is a plus
