Overview

We are hiring immediately for a full time COOK position.

Location:

1100 Discovery Way, Sunnyvale, CA 94089.

Full time schedule. Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. More details upon interview.

• 5 years of previous cooking experience is preferred.

Fixed Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour.

• Prepares food in accordance with applicable standards, guidelines and regulations with established policies and procedures. Ensures quality food service is provided at all times.
• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards, ensuring that food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty.
• Maintains cleanliness of the kitchen and proper storage of food and supplies; assists in production planning, record keeping and reporting as required.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment; reports needed maintenance or accidents to the supervisor immediately.
• Adheres to HACCP standards and follows safe food-handling procedures.
• Follows company policies and safety guidelines; maintains a clean, safe work environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Experience in a food service or kitchen role with ability to follow standardized recipes and procedures.
• Strong attention to portion control, temperature, presentation and taste.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and cooperate with coworkers and management.
