What will you help us create?
- Lead a team of Device Business Managers in the sourcing, selection, contract negotiation and management of one or more EMS suppliers, aligned with the overarching EMS strategy.
- Ensure a competitive sourcing environment that continuously improves engineering services, line readiness, quality, business management and contract adherence.
- Actively engage Device Operations and Engineering teams with EMS suppliers to achieve programmatic objectives.
- Drive the commercial and contractual aspects of the relationship, coordinating cross‑functional teams to maximize EMS supplier value.
- Lead EMS supplier performance management and conduct cross‑functional business reviews.
- Develop and mentor the team: hiring, promotion, performance management, and cultivating a culture of excellence.
About the team:
Devices Business Management (DBM) is responsible for the business relationship with EMS suppliers. The team collaborates cross‑functionally with Product Operations, Engineering, Quality, Legal and Finance to innovate, design for cost and quality, and ensure timely delivery.
- 10+ years of experience building and leading large teams in matrixed operating structures.
- Knowledge of distribution networks and channel P&Ls.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Experience communicating with multiple stakeholders, including C‑level executives and cross‑functional teams.
- Strategic thinking about business, enterprise software products and new technology platforms.
- Negotiation experience with VP‑level contracts.
- Collaboration experience with Marketing, Product Management, Customer Service, Operations, Legal, Finance and Senior Leadership.
- Experience managing and developing high‑performance teams.
- Master’s degree or equivalent.
- Experience with Data & AI related technologies, including AI/ML, GenAI, analytics, database or storage.
