Hire Art is helping our client find an experienced and dependable Office Manager to take ownership of the front-of-house experience and ensure their Sunnyvale campus is welcoming, efficient, and strategically aligned with organizational needs.
In this role, you’ll oversee and continuously improve workplace programs, including food and hospitality services, onsite events, space planning, office aesthetics, and visitor experience. You’ll manage key vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure performance, cost efficiency, and accountability across all service providers.
The ideal candidate has a proven background in facilities and workplace operations, thrives in dynamic environments, and takes a proactive, strategic approach to building systems, processes, and experiences that scale.
Responsibilities- Lead daily office operations to ensure a seamless, professional, and highly welcoming environment across all front-of-house areas.
- Manage and optimize food, snack, and event programs that enhance the employee experience and reflect company culture.
- Coordinate space planning, seating assignments, and office layout changes, partnering with leadership to support organizational growth.
- Oversee and hold vendors accountable for cleaning, maintenance, reception, landscaping, and security services.
- Support light maintenance tasks, supply inventory, and office organization to maintain high-quality, reliable spaces.
- Partner cross-functionally with IT, engineering, and business teams to resolve operational issues and strengthen workplace systems.
- Develop, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency, scalability, and operational excellence across sites.
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce costs, and improve workplace efficiency and employee satisfaction.
- 5+ years of experience in workplace operations, facilities management, or corporate office administration
- Demonstrated ability to lead office operations at scale, with experience supporting growing or multi-team environments
- Strong vendor management and negotiation skills, including contract oversight and performance accountability
- Excellent operational judgment and an ownership mindset, with pride in maintaining high-quality, efficient, and organized spaces
- Strong multitasking and prioritization skills, with a calm, solution-focused approach under pressure
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with proven success working cross-functionally
- Experience developing scalable workflows, processes, SOPs, or templates to support operational consistency
- Resourceful, cost-conscious, and proactive in identifying and solving workplace challenges
- Ability to handle light maintenance tasks and lift up to 20 lbs

Commitment: This is a full-time, ongoing contract position staffed via Hire Art. This role is onsite in Sunnyvale, CA and available to candidates based in the Bay Area.
