Partner with Aquent to join a leading global technology company that is at the forefront of innovation, shaping how millions interact with information and services daily. This organization is dedicated to creating impactful products and platforms that connect users worldwide, fostering a secure and high-quality digital experience.

Are you a sharp analytical mind with a passion for ensuring the integrity and quality of digital platforms? We are seeking a highly skilled individual to join a dynamic team where you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our digital advertising services. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact by identifying and mitigating complex abuse patterns, protecting users, and upholding the highest standards of product quality and trust.

You will be instrumental in solving complex quality issues, driving rigorous analyses, and influencing strategic direction across various product areas. Your work will involve designing and implementing policies and workflows from scratch, co-developing engineering priorities, and contributing to solutions that span multiple quarters.

What You’ll Do
  • Learn abuse patterns and trends, identifying product vulnerabilities.
  • Conduct investigations to catch fraudulent actors on the digital advertising platform and enforce its product policies.
  • Investigate and address escalations requiring reviews across accounts, landing pages, and creatives related to the digital advertising platform.
  • Generate and test hypotheses for complex problems without clear solutions, defining quantitative metrics and using logical reasoning to drive decisions.
  • Interpret data and fluently communicate insights to diverse audiences.
  • Compute statistics (e.g., precision, recall, and balanced accuracy) about the performance of complex technical models (e.g., ML systems, classifiers) and recognize nuanced problems in classifier performance.
  • Construct accurate and efficient queries of high complexity independently, producing multiple robust interpretations of data.
  • Identify meaningful and creative signals to determine behavior patterns that can be used to improve algorithms (e.g., feature engineering).
  • Utilize domain expertise in abuse to identify system gaps and opportunities for improvement.
  • Implement scalable ways to address quality issues and source additional examples at scale for action or training.
  • Contribute to project scoping, generate new ideas and viable solutions with engineering partners, and manage project priorities and allocation of technical resources.
Must-Have Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in fraud detection and investigation.
  • Proficiency in anti-abuse data analysis.
  • Experience with payments systems.
  • Strong incident management skills.
  • Proficiency in SQL.
  • Expertise in abuse practices.
  • Situational leadership abilities.
  • Experience with project design.
  • Understanding of general product infrastructure.
  • Strong product savviness.
  • Code comprehension skills.
