Associate Business Systems Analyst

Hybrid – Sunnyvale (2+days/week, WED required)

Pay Range: $39.81 – $55.00 Hourly ("Please note that the pay rate will range from 82% – 100% based on your location")

• Role:
  Business Systems Analyst (BSA) supporting Sales Compensation Operations for a single headcount, 12 month engagement
• Primary Focus:
  Operational execution and data integrity for sales compensation programs
• Core Work:
  • Receive, validate, and upload compensation related data from upstream partners into incentive compensation systems (notably Xactly/Exactly)
  • Execute monthly, time sensitive loads critical to accurate and timely sales rep payments
  • Perform data quality checks, audits, and basic variance/trend identification
  • Maintain and update process documentation; suggest efficiency improvements
• Collaboration:
  • Daily interaction with Global Sales Compensation team
  • Regular coordination with CRM partners, Deal Desk, and regional operational analysts
  • Ongoing communication with international teams (Dublin, Singapore) for status updates and alignment

(Technical + Soft Skills Combined)

• Strong Excel proficiency: pivots, models, data comparison, formatting, anomaly detection
• Comfort working across multiple systems/tools (Salesforce, Dynamics, incentive comp tools)
• Data driven, detail oriented, and process focused mindset
• Ability to follow documented procedures precisely while identifying optimization opportunities
• Clear communicator; able to provide regular updates and flag issues proactively
• Organized, reliable, and able to operate under monthly deadline pressure

  • Economics, math, or data oriented education is a plus but not mandatory

• Hybrid requirement:
  Minimum 2 days/week onsite;
  Wednesday is mandatory;
  Second onsite day flexible, aligned with team
• Business hours:
  Primarily standard Bay Area hours
• Occasional flexibility:
  First week of the month may require slight schedule extensions due to global coordination

• Work is highly operational and system heavy, not project management
• Compensation tool experience is preferred but not required; training available
• Global experience is nice to have, not a deal breaker
• Role supports critical payroll impacting processes with low tolerance for errors
