Engineer III – Systems EngineerLocation:
Sunnyvale, CA. Clearance:
Active Secret Clearance required; ability to obtain TS/SCI.
Integrity Communications Solutions is seeking a motivated Systems Engineer to support mission-critical systems within a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities- Provide systems administration and help desk support for Windows, Linux (Red Hat), and Solaris environments.
- Install, configure, and update software; apply patches and troubleshoot system issues.
- Assist in implementing and monitoring cybersecurity solutions aligned with RMF controls and policies.
- Support configuration management processes using tools such as Git, Jenkins, or similar.
- Create and maintain technical documentation (e.g., system guides, job aids, version descriptions).
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to ongoing digital transformation initiatives.
- Collect and track system performance metrics and assist in preparing deliverables.
- Perform tasks related to media control, audits, and classified/unclassified data handling.
- Help automate routine system processes using scripting tools.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or related field with 0–2 years of relevant experience; or Master’s degree in a related field with no prior experience required.
- Active Secret clearance required at time of hire; must be able to obtain Top Secret clearance as required by program needs.
- Security+ required.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- U.S. citizenship required due to federal contracting requirements.
- Familiarity with RMF processes and cybersecurity compliance.
- Basic understanding of system hardening and STIG/Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) tools.
- Exposure to virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware) and performance monitoring tools.
- Ability to read and write simple automation or shell scripts (Bash, Power Shell, etc.).
- Experience with collaboration and ticketing tools such as Jira, Confluence, or SharePoint.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
Salary range: starting at $95,000 annually (based on experience and qualifications).
