Position Overview:

We are seeking Systems Engineer at varying experience levels (Entry-level through Experienced) to support mission-critical systems in a dynamic environment. This role blends systems administration, configuration management, cybersecurity, and engineering support across sustainment and development environments. Candidates will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability, compliance, and performance. Role Level

Description:

* Junior-level to experienced, but still a learner.
* Bachelor's degree and 2+ years experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience. Responsibilities:
* Provide systems administration and help desk support for sustainment and development environments across multiple operating systems, including Windows, Solaris, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
* Perform configuration and data management, including software builds using Change Management (CM) tools.
* Collaborate with functional teams to resolve findings/issues and actively participate in Agile activities.
* Develop and apply cybersecurity solutions to ensure compliance with computer security policies and Risk Management Framework (RMF).
* Execute software installations, updates, and patches, including troubleshooting and technical support.
* Maintain and develop documentation such as Version Description Documents (VDDs) and job aides.
* Support Digital Transformation initiatives, CDRL preparations, and ad hoc engineering projects.
* Generate and document metrics, tracking and reporting all efforts accurately. Additional Duties:
* Provide operational support, including:
* Resetting user passwords.
* Adjusting satellite positions.
* Monitoring telemetry systems.
* Resolving communication issues.
* Supporting data center operations.
* Travel to remote sites as needed to perform assigned tasks. Qualifications

Required:

* Current Security+ Certification.
* Experience with Windows, Solaris, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems.
* Familiarity with Change Management tools and Agile methodologies.
* Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and RMF compliance.
* Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues across multiple platforms. Preferred:
* Experience in satellite operations or telemetry systems.
* Knowledge of software build processes and configuration management.
* Strong documentation and communication skills. Company Benefits:
