Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience designing and implementing Procurement, Supply Chain or Vendor Management systems.
- 10 years of experience building integrated systems throughout the entire life-cycle (e.g., analyze, design, build, test, implement, and support).
- Experience with eCommerce enterprise resource planning (ERP) and related product life-cycle management, customer relationship management, quality, or logistics.
- Experience with Strategic Sourcing cycles (7-Step Process), Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) models, and Contract Management.
- Experience designing and implementing supply chain systems, and building and upgrading integrated systems through the entire life-cycle.
As part of the Procurement Engineering Product team, you will work closely with the Google Finance team to deliver solutions that enable Google wide procurement and spend practices. This role will focus primarily on a suite of solutions that provide Supplier Intelligence, Sourcing Automation, and Travel procurement. You will work across multiple engineering teams to leverage AI technology to drive transformation in these processes.
You will partner with User Experience teams to create a solution strategy for increasing the capacity of Category Managers and streamlining supplier selection and travel booking user journeys.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $189,000-$280,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities- Architect and implement innovative AI solutions to automate and scale procurement systems, partnering with business stakeholders to define roadmaps and requirements.
- Own the planning, delivery, and support of core procurement systems, including SAP S4/HANA, Concur, and third-party orchestration, ensuring seamless integration of third-party products.
- Manage the full life-cycle of third-party procurement technologies, from selection and contracting to vendor management, configuration, and deployment.
- Lead end-to-end system implementation projects, covering requirements, design, configuration, testing, issue resolution, and thorough documentation.
- Troubleshoot complex system and data issues, perform analyses to identify improvements, and effectively manage technical constraints and dependencies across projects.
