Joining our Product Marketing team means collaborating with top-tier professionals who are passionate about pioneering breach containment.

In this role, you will support marketing in progressing the product led growth (PLG) initiative. This includes technical troubleshooting for optimizing the experience for web trials and marketplace offerings such as Microsoft Marketplace and AWS Marketplace. We seek to ensure delightful, frictionless, self-serve product trial experiences, and your role is crucial in achieving that. You will also be supporting prospects, customers, and partners in answering their questions via our practitioner community, the Illumiverse.

You need to be an expert at delivering powerful demos tailored to customer pain points and recording demos and associated onboarding content.

You will help prospects to progress prospects friction-free through the pipeline by developing content such as demos and getting started assets. Your performance will be measured against successful trial adoption and your ability to maintain proficiency in cybersecurity domains and Illumio’s products. You will be surrounded and uplifted by other such professionals in a fun and rewarding culture of “Illumineers” that seek to win.

You will become an integral part of Illumio’s highly skilled subject matter experts that will work with sales and marketing teams to help build Illumio’s brand, thought-leadership presence, and demand and seller readiness programs for our portfolio of products and solutions. You will partner with the larger marketing organization to help execute against our global business strategy and collaborate closely with all of our stakeholders (such as product managers, technical marketing engineers, demand generation, sales teams, and partner teams) that help deliver across the entire buyer’s journey.

Your Impact:

  • Help us build a new product-led growth business with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Act as trusted advisors for our prospects primarily and also customers, partners and internal audiences. Monitor and answer questions on the community site.
  • Focus on explaining how our products and solutions work by creating compelling content (especially getting started guides and videos, as well as writing white papers and presentations), working with product management and engineering to solve trial experience problems and engaging with product management to continually improve the trial experience
  • Be a technical subject matter experts in multiple areas of our portfolio and act as a bridge connecting product management and engineering, with prospects’ pain and desired outcomes.
