Data Quality Analyst

Akkodis is seeking a Data Quality Analyst for a Contract with a client in Sunnyvale, CA. You will define and implement data quality rules while performing profiling, reconciliation, and root‑cause analysis.

Rate Range: $53/hour to $56/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

• Define and implement data quality rules while performing data profiling, reconciliation, and root‑cause analysis across sourcing, enrichment, and reporting layers.
• Build, maintain, and enhance Tableau QA dashboards to monitor anomalies, trends, data quality scores, and issue resolution timelines.
• Validate complex datasets using advanced SQL queries and ensure alignment across data pipelines, reports, and governance standards.
• Maintain and update data dictionaries, business glossaries, and DQ frameworks to support global and regional data governance consistency.
• Triage, track, and resolve data quality issues using tools such as Radar and Trello, collaborating closely with technical teams, business partners, and external vendors.
• Communicate data quality findings, risks, and recommendations clearly to stakeholders across both technical and non‑technical functions.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field.
• 8–10 years of experience in data quality management, data validation, or data governance roles.
• Strong proficiency in advanced SQL and Tableau for data validation, dashboard creation, and anomaly detection.
• Demonstrated expertise in defining data quality rules, performing data profiling and reconciliation, and managing DQ issue resolution across cross‑functional teams.
