Job DescriptionWe are seeking a full-time CQ5 Developer/Architect for our Sunnyvale, CA client.
- Position: CQ5 Developer/Architect
- Location: Sunnyvale, CA
- Experience: 8-10 years of overall IT experience
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree
- Build, deploy, and maintain enterprise-level Web Content Management solutions on Adobe CQ 5.3 or above.
- Implement, enhance, and troubleshoot Adobe CQ5/AEM installations.
- Translate customer requirements into technical designs and AEM‑specific implementation specifications.
- Design and implement multi‑site, multi‑channel, multi‑lingual web sites.
- Develop digital consumer experiences using the Adobe CQ/AEM product suite, including CRX, CQ WCM, and DAM.
- Design and build AEM components, templates, dialogs, and workflows using the Sling, CRX, OSGi, and JCR architecture.
- Diagnose and resolve content management issues such as search accuracy, dynamic content linking, formatting, image scaling, internationalization, and personalization.
- Participate in design discussions and client meetings.
- Work in an agile, rapid‑development and prototyping environment.
- Contribute to internal development methodologies and organizational best practices.
- Apply industry‑standard design patterns for web application development.
- Take initiative, own deliverables, and drive projects to completion.
- Hands‑on experience with Adobe CQ 5.3 or newer (Class A E2 or higher).
- In-depth knowledge of Java Content Repository (JCR) API, Sling web framework, and Apache Felix OSGi.
- Strong client‑interfacing skills with excellent communication, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Experience with AEM architecture, including component, template, dialog, and workflow development.
- Knowledge of AEM best practices and industry design patterns.
- Strong teamwork, self‑motivation, and ability to work 24/7 as needed.
