Description This position is part of the AWS Specialist and Partner Organization (ASP). Specialists own the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for their respective technology domains, providing the business and technical expertise to help our customers succeed. Partner teams own the strategy, recruiting, development, and growth of key technology and consulting partners. Together they provide customers with the expertise and scale needed to build innovative solutions for complex challenges.
Amazon Connect is an AI-powered customer experience solution that drives customer lifetime value, maximizes outcomes, and delights customers. The Principal GTM Specialist is a seasoned CCaaS professional with experience creating and driving differentiated strategies for business growth. The role operates in a cross‑functional team to deliver results globally by testing, iterating, and launching business development programs and assets that drive value to customers and internal stakeholders.
The specialist must translate technical features into business value conversations for line‑of‑business and contact‑center decision makers, navigate constant change, and maintain a strategic focus.
- Create the GTM strategy for Amazon Connect's AI‑driven omnichannel solution.
- Own strategic initiatives that contribute to the global go‑to‑market plan. Measure and report on impact.
- Collaborate with GTM specialists, sellers, partner teams, and service teams to develop scalable sales plays that drive growth targets.
- Determine and iterate on internal and partner‑led routes to market.
- Influence roadmap priorities and bring new AI features to market.
- Partner with product managers and sales to identify, replicate, and scale successful sales campaigns.
- Develop assets and content to enable the global sales organization to execute sales playbooks.
- Work closely with sellers, solutions architects, and partners to understand blockers to growth.
- Maintain a reporting cadence to the cross‑functional team to address blockers, communicate changes, and iterate strategy.

Basic Qualifications- 7+ years of experience with Business Application Technologies, including Contact Center as a Service, Supply Chain, End User Compute, and related domains.
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level.
- 7+ years of developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements.
- 7+ years of professional or military experience.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience selling to Fortune 1000 or Global 2000 organizations.
