ResponsibilitiesThe MUOS SIL lead will be responsible for the day‑to‑day operations and overall responsibility for the SIL. Operations include review of satellite alarms, telemetry trending, and data transfers. Responsible for tracking and managing MUOS Support Requests (MSRs) including briefing at the Space IPT and Sustainment Quarterly. Generate and manage Battery Reconditioning Eclipse Timeline. Anomaly support to include off‑hour availability. Basic system administrator support.
Work location will be Sunnyvale, CA.
- Basic understanding of satellite operations, communications, and subsystems.
- General systems administrator knowledge and experience.
- Report generation and PowerPoint experience.
- Current, active secret clearance required.
- Spacecraft operations.
- Software testing.
- System administration experience.
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work RemotelyOnsite Full‑time:
The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five‑day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Pay Rate (California, Massachusetts, New York, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington)The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $73,400 - $129,260. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
PayRate (Major Metropolitan Areas in California, Massachusetts, New York)
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $84,300 - $146,165. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
