QA Engineer III

Our client, a leading technology organization, is seeking a QA Engineer to join their team. As a QA Engineer, you will be part of the Quality Assurance Department, supporting Application, System, and Inter‑System Testing Teams. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, analytical problem‑solving spaces and strong collaboration abilities, which will align successfully with the organization.

Sunnyvale – Hybrid (3 days/week) | Pay Range: $50/hr.

- $55/hr.

• Perform repeatable testing procedures and processes to ensure application and system quality.
• Verify triggers, stored procedures, referential integrity, and hardware or system specifications.
• Interpret, modify, and troubleshoot code as needed, including C/C++, C#, batch files, Perl scripts, queries, and stored procedures.
• Design and develop automated test harnesses focusing on application, system, and inter‑system level issues.
• Identify and address system/application performance issues, threading conflicts, bottlenecks, and intermittent failures.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field; some business/functional knowledge or industry experience preferred.
• Experience with database programming (SQL Server, Oracle, Sybase, Informix, and/or DB2).
• Software testing experience in web-based or Windows client/server environments.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as C#, C/C++, SQL, and strong knowledge of software development lifecycle.
• Knowledge of software quality assurance practices, testing methodologies, and project management principles.
