Supply Chain Analyst II
Location: US - CA - Remote
Job Summary: As an Entry Level Supply Chain Data Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data related to our supply chain operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement, providing insights to help optimize our global supply chain.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources using SQL and Python.
- Develop and maintain databases, dashboards, and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data, and provide recommendations for process improvements.
- Drive automation projects on an aggressive timeline with a team of world‑class engineers and designers.
- Develop and maintain well‑coordinated internal relationships with cross‑functional teams, including operations, logistics, and engineering, in order to best understand business needs and develop data‑driven solutions.
- Develop and implement data visualization tools to communicate complex data insights to stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in forecasting, inventory planning, and supply chain optimization.
- 3+ years of experience using SQL & Python.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Strong understanding of supply chain management and planning principles, practices, and techniques.
- Proficiency in pandas, Num Py, and other Python libraries for data manipulation and analysis.
- Proficiency in SQL and database management.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with supply chain management software, such as SAP or Oracle.
- Experience with ERP or supply chain system implementation.
- Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and modeling techniques.
- Certification in supply chain management, such as APICS or ISM.
- Experience in resolving issues related to undelivered goods and coordinating with staff, users, and vendors to determine corrective action.
- Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, negotiation skills, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze financial reports, price proposals and other technical data.
- Ability to accurately document and record customer/client information.
- Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to purchasing.
- Knowledge of supply chain management.
- Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
