Overview
Description We are looking to add an Area
Sales Coordinator who will be assisting the sales teams for multiple hotels in promoting its services, client relationships and ensuring smooth operations to drive revenue. You will manage all areas of sales according to Island Hospitality Management and Brand Standards to achieve a professional rapport within the local business community. Our Area Sales Coordinator assists with promotional materials and administrative duties and is in constant contact with the hotel General Managers and Directors of Sales.
This position may require flexible scheduling availability.
- Assist the sales teams for multiple hotels in promoting services, managing client relationships, and driving revenue.
- Handle promotional materials and administrative duties in alignment with Brand Standards.
- Maintain constant contact with hotel General Managers and Directors of Sales.
- Collaborate with Front Office Team to ensure group details and corporate directives are executed to achieve shared goals.
- Prepare required reports for the management team.
- Hands-on team member who is actively involved on a daily basis.
- Ability to drive outside sales calls.
- Highly motivated team player with strong initiative and desire for achievement.
- Effective in handling problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary.
- Ability to work well in stressful situations.
- Readily available and approachable for all guests while providing excellent guest service.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit or walk for an extended period of time. The employee is regularly required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
The number of hours you will be scheduled to work during the week is variable and is based on guest occupancy, season, staffing and other factors. Island Hospitality is unable to guarantee a specific number of work hours per week.
