We are looking to add a Sales Coordinator who will be responsible for revenue production for the hotel, and meeting or exceeding planned revenue objectives for occupancy and average daily rate. You will manage all areas of sales according to Island Hospitality Management and Brand Standards to achieve a professional rapport within the local business community. Our Sales Coordinator assists with promotional materials, and administrative duties and is in constant contact with the hotel General Manager and Director of Sales.

This position may require flexible scheduling availability.

Responsibilities
  • Be involved in the community and/or government affairs to ensure effective marketing of the hotel
  • Demonstrate commitment to guest service by responding to guest needs
  • Develop and implement marketing and sales plans based on demand segments to maximize REVPAR and Market Share; understand why competitors are successful in each demand segment and directly market/sell against the competition
  • Know key accounts and actively sell through sales calls, property tours, strategic marketing, etc.
  • Prepare required reports for the management team
  • Maintain vendor and client information; collaborate with Front Office to ensure group details and corporate directives are executed to achieve common goals

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit or walk for an extended period of time. The employee may be required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and frequently up to 25 pounds.

The number of hours scheduled to work during the week is variable and based on guest occupancy, season, staffing and other factors. Island Hospitality is unable to guarantee a specific number of work hours per week.
