The Electrical Characterization Engineer will perform routine, high-quality electrical characterization focused on signal integrity and EMC testing. This role includes developing and executing novel test methods to support a diverse portfolio of applications development projects. The engineer will collaborate closely with senior team members and lead defined project workflows that rely on electrical characterization techniques and electrical property analysis.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
- Solid understanding of fundamental electrical engineering and signal integrity theory
- Hands-on lab experience with strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced engineering environment
- Experience using electrical characterization tools such as multimeters, spectrum analyzers, power supplies, and oscilloscopes
- Understanding of RF fundamentals, including electromagnetic theory, transmission line theory, and stack-up design
- Experience with Vector Network Analyzers (S-parameters, TDR responses, eye diagrams) preferred
- Familiarity with EMC testing preferred
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and clear communication abilities
- Curiosity and initiative to learn beyond assigned tasks
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-moving environment
- Acts as a technical point of contact for signal integrity and EMI-based workflows
- Basic data analysis and statistical experience
