Job Title: Electrical Engineer
Location: Sunnyvale, CA 94085 (4 days Onsite)
Duration: 12 Months (Possible Extension)
Work Hours: Monday - Friday 8 AM - 5 PM
Overview: Become part of our team as an Electrical Engineer excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our client's business. You will have the chance to work on projects including semiconductor manufacturing, research and development facilities, and other state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accountable for schedule and technical quality of assigned routine engineering tasks
- Gain familiarity with the clients expectations, scope, budget, and schedule for assigned tasks
- Recognize and communicate scope and design changes promptly
- Provide on-site assistance during startup and coordinate work activities with other staff members and the discipline lead
- Produce installation details, single line diagrams, electric room layouts, motor control elementaries, connection diagrams, cable schedules, control panel layouts, and grounding, lighting, and power plans
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or Renewable Energy Engineering
- At least 6 years of Electrical Engineering experience
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certification
- Services During Construction (SDC) or Construction Administration (CA) experience (e.g., submittal reviews, RFI responses, design verification walks, field observation reports)
- Ability to work onsite in Sunnyvale, CA a minimum of 4 days per week
Preferred Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of Revit or BIM software
- Professional Engineering License (PE) preferred in the State of California
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Forward-thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute innovative ideas
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams
- Passionate about buildings and construction
