Responsibilities- Conduct electrical, RF and optical tests on prototype hardware.
- Maintain RF testers and fixtures, ensuring optimal uptime for testing.
- Adhere to safe hardware handling protocols, focusing on ESD mitigation.
- Follow detailed procedure documents and participate in process retraining as needed.
- Utilize basic software tools to monitor line flow and part status.
- Assist with basic triage of failures, collaborating with engineering for troubleshooting.
- Support the movement and reconfiguration of hardware for R&D purposes.
- Maintain organization and inventory of prototype hardware.
- Assist in test equipment maintenance and report any issues promptly.
- Embrace continuous learning and apply new skills in the opto/optical field to drive innovation.
- Adapt to evolving tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
- Minimum of a 2‑year degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience with electrical and optical testing on prototype hardware.
- Experience with fiber handling techniques.
- Knowledge of ESD safety procedures.
- Proven ability to follow detailed procedure documents and process flows.
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize responsibilities. Willingness to work overtime as needed.
- 4‑year degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Experience in Opto‑Electronic manufacturing operations.
- Hands‑on experience with fiber attach, mechanical assembly and fiber splicing.
- Expertise in high‑volume packaging of 2.5/3D packages. Familiar with flip‑chip, BGA, PCBA, Flex design and processing.
- Experience with metrology techniques such as SEM/XSEM, confocal microscopy, or acoustic imaging – or equivalent practical work experience.
