Job Description & How to Apply Below

We are seeking a highly technical, detail-oriented Technical Program Manager to lead the execution of complex hardware products in a fast-paced robotics startup. This role is for someone who can dive deep into technical details, challenge assumptions, and earn the trust of engineers, while still driving schedules, alignment, and external execution.
You will own a major product or module end-to-end—often a tightly integrated, multi-sensor system—and act as the technical glue across internal teams and external partners. Success in this role requires strong engineering intuition, disciplined execution, and relentless attention to detail across requirements, interfaces, schedules, and deliverables.

What you'll do
  • Own end-to-end execution of a major hardware product or module, from concept through production
  • Develop deep technical understanding of the product, including system architecture, interfaces, dependencies, and constraints
  • Drive execution of complex, cross-functional programs involving silicon and ASIC teams, system, hardware, and electrical engineering, product design, optics, firmware, and software, operations, manufacturing, supply chain, and business teams
  • Lead development of advanced multi-sensor systems or platforms for robotics and industrial applications
  • Build and maintain detailed, realistic program plans, tracking milestones, risks, assumptions, and interdependencies
  • Actively identify inconsistencies, gaps, and risks in requirements, specifications, and schedules—and drive resolution
  • Manage and coordinate with external partners, including customers, Tier-1 suppliers, CMs, OSATs, and component vendors
  • Ensure design, validation, and manufacturing plans are technically sound and execution-ready
  • Prepare and present clear, technically grounded status updates to executive leadership, including trade-offs and recommendations
  • Support budgeting, cost tracking, and change management with a strong understanding of technical drivers
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field
  • 8+ years of experience in technical program management or equivalent roles with heavy technical responsibility
  • Strong hands‑on technical background in hardware systems, enabling deep engagement with engineering teams
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and track low‑level technical details without losing sight of system‑level goals
  • Experience managing complex hardware programs involving sensors, embedded systems, or high‑speed interfaces
  • Proven experience coordinating internal engineering teams and external partners (customers, Tier-1s, CMs, OSATs)
  • Exceptional attention to detail across requirements, schedules, risks, and deliverables
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially in technical and executive‑facing contexts
Preferred Qualifications
  • Engineering background in EE, systems, optics, or embedded systems
  • Experience in high‑performance hardware environments such as Apple, GoPro, or similar
  • Background in robotics, industrial, automotive, or consumer electronics products
  • Experience managing EVT/DVT/PVT cycles and production ramp
  • Familiarity with multi‑sensor integration challenges (calibration, synchronization, data paths, thermal, mechanical constraints)
  • Ability to operate effectively in a startup environment with ambiguity, speed, and high ownership
  • Competitive salary and equity
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • Flexible vacation and time‑off policy
  • Collaborative, fast‑paced, and inclusive work environment
  • Opportunity to work oncutting‑edge technologies with a highly cross‑functional team
