Robotics, Embedded Software Engineer
We are looking for a Systems Integration & Prototyping Lead to turn our robotics technologies into compelling, end-to-end demos and customer-ready prototypes. This is a highly hands‑on, cross‑functional role focused on making complex robotic systems work reliably in the real world. You will integrate our sensors, cameras, and compute platforms into complete robotic systems—ranging from AMRs and rovers to robotic arms, quadrupeds, and humanoids—for internal validation, customer demos, and major industry events such as CES, GTC, and customer on‑sites.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the boundary between hardware, software, and robotics, and enjoys building systems that people can see, touch, and interact with.
- Own end‑to‑end system integration for robotics demos, prototypes, and early customer systems
- Build and integrate complete robotic platforms, using off‑the‑shelf or in‑house robotic platforms (AMRs, rovers, robotic arms, quadrupeds, humanoids, etc.), multiple sensors (RGB cameras, LiDAR, IMU, depth sensors, etc.), and compute platforms (NVIDIA Thor, Jetson Nano, Orin, Xavier, etc.)
- Perform hardware and software bring‑up, including OS installation, drivers, firmware, middleware, and basic applications
- Integrate and debug networking, synchronization, and data paths across sensors, compute, and robotic platforms
- Work closely with EE, PD, mechanical, firmware, software, systems, and algorithm teams to resolve integration challenges
- Rapidly diagnose and fix system‑level issues involving power, thermal, mechanical, timing, or software interactions
- Build polished, stable demos suitable for customer reviews, executive briefings, and trade shows
- Support on‑site and off‑site customer demos, trade shows, and field deployments
- Capture feedback and lessons learned from demos and feed them back into product and engineering roadmaps
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
- 6+ years of experience in systems integration, robotics, embedded systems, or prototyping roles
- Hands‑on experience integrating robotic platforms with sensors, compute, and software stacks
- Strong familiarity with NVIDIA Jetson / Thor platforms and embedded Linux environments
- Experience working with cameras, LiDARs, IMUs, and perception‑related hardware
- Strong system‑level debugging skills across hardware, software LEDs, networking, and robotics subsystems
- Ability to collaborate effectively across hardware, mechanical, firmware, software, and algorithm teams
- Comfortable operating in fast‑paced startup environments with incomplete requirements
- Background in AMRs, autonomous systems, manipulation, or humanoid robotics
- Familiarity with ROS / ROS 2, sensor drivers, and robotics middleware
- Experience with high‑speed interfaces and networking (Ethernet, PCIe, USB, time sync)
- Scripting or light development experience (Python, C/C++, Bash) for automation and bring‑up
- Strong intuition for system reliability, cable management, power, thermal, and mechanical constraints
- Competitive salary and equity
- Comprehensive обработки and vision coverage
- Flexible vacation and time‑off policy
- Collaborative, fast‑paced, and inclusive work environment
- Opportunity to work oncutting‑edge technologies with a highly cross‑functional team
