Aboutthe Role
- Drive the development and execution of comprehensive validation strategies and test plans, including both simulation and real‑world testing activities.
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of sophisticated metrics mapped to safety cases, ensuring clear reporting and alignment with industry standards.
- Architect solutions for performance analysis and challenging event identification.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with other engineering leaders and industry partners to define roadmaps and priorities for validation features and capabilities.
- 5+ years of experience in ADAS, autonomous driving, or related technical field.
- MS/BS degree in Robotics, Aerospace, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- Deep knowledge of ADAS/AV system architecture and standards (ISO 26262, ISO 21448, UL 4600).
- Collaboration skills with cross‑functional teams and industry partners.
- Prior technical leadership in autonomous vehicle, ADAS, or aerospace programs.
- Project management experience in AV or robotics fields.
- Experience with safety engineering and requirements management.
- Familiarity with simulation and scripting tools in autonomy systems.
- PhD in engineering, robotics, or a related technical field.
Base salary ranges from $199 295 to $264 500 USD annually for this full‑time position based on location. Base salary is a single component of the total compensation package and may also include equity in the form of options or restricted stock units, comprehensive health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k) retirement benefits with employer match, learning and wellness stipends, and paid time off.
