Product Design Mechanical Engineer

Sunnyvale, CA - Onsite

Full-Time with L&T Technology Services (LTTS).

Support product designs in Siemens NX environment, review battery requirements, support prototyping, assembly, and testing, and perform statistical tolerance and GD&T analyses.

• Support product designs in Siemens NX environment for 3D modeling and 2D drafting.
• Review battery requirements with product engineering teams to find the best options for product volume, weight, and run time.
• Support product prototyping, assembly, and testing.
• Create statistical tolerance, functional dimensioning, and geometric tolerancing analyses.

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of mechanical engineering and product design experience.
• Proficient with Siemens NX for 3D modeling and 2D drafting.
• Experience with PCB/flex design.
• Good understanding of Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), statistical tolerance analysis techniques, functional dimensioning, and GD&T.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

• Background in Mechanical Engineering: A degree in Mechanical Engineering is a fundamental requirement for this role.
• Experience with Consumer Electronics:
  Familiarity with consumer electronics is essential.
• Proficiency with Siemens NX for 3D Modeling and 2D Drafting:
  Proficiency is critical.

• Experience Working with Battery Design:
  Experience with battery design is highly desirable.
• Good Understanding of Assembly and Testing:
  Knowledge of assembly and testing processes is valuable.
