Community First School is currently looking for Infant Teachers for our Infant and Waddler classrooms. All applicants must be available to work 9:00AM-6:00PM. This is a FULL TIME position.

We are seeking an energetic and experienced Infant Teacher to join our team! You will be leading a class of students through the school year, assessing their current academic level, and designing instruction to meet students’ collective and individual needs.
Minimum RequirementsApplicants must have 12 semester or 18 quarter core ECE unit that includes the following courses Child Development;
Child, Family and Community;
Program/Curriculum; and MUST have 3 semester units of the Infant/Toddler Development Class.
Applicants must be fingerprinted and be cleared through FBI and DOJ.
Applicants must be able to work a flexible work schedule between the hours of 7am to 6pm.
Applicants must have good communication skills and be able to talk to parents, other staff and children.
Applicants must be able to manipulate, lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Bachelor’s degree and state teaching certification.
Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to the guideline.
Problem-solving and mediation skills.
