Griffith Family Dental is excited to announce an opening for a Dental Receptionist at the entry level. Our clinic, renowned for exceptional dental care and patient satisfaction, seeks a motivated and organized professional to manage our front desk operations. It is important to note that this is not a remote job, and the successful candidate will be stationed at our office location to interact directly with our valued patients and staff.
As a cornerstone of first impressions and a vital component of our patient-care system, the role of a Dental Receptionist is crucial in maintaining the smooth operation of our clinic. We are not just looking for an employee; we are seeking a new member for our dental family who will contribute to our welcoming atmosphere and provide outstanding service to everyone who walks through our doors.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Greet patients warmly and assist with check-in and check-out
- Answer incoming phone calls, schedule appointments, and respond to patient inquiries
- Verify and update patient information accurately
- Collect payments, process transactions, and provide receipts
- Maintain a clean, organized front desk area
- Communicate effectively with the clinical and administrative teams
- Support daily front office operations to ensure a smooth patient flow
- Authorized to work in the US
- Good at algebra for calculating percentage and estimate adjustments
- Minimum of 2–3 years of in-person customer service experience
- Prior dental office experience preferred but not required
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a busy, fast-paced setting
- Comfortable answering high-volume phone calls and speaking with patients
- Professional, positive, and patient-focused demeanor
- Reliable and flexible with work hours, including overtime when needed
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- Willingness to learn dental terminology, procedures, and office systems
- Team-oriented with a strong work ethic
