The right person for this position has great customer service skills, treats patients like friends and family, feels comfortable with sales, and has experience in assisting with a variety of dental procedures including restorative and operative dentistry.
Knowledge about dental implants, same-day crowns, and dental digital scanners is beneficial, and we can train you on those as well.
The ability to work and get along with others to help with the flow of a productive schedule is a must.
Position Overview Responsibilities- Assist dentist in the preparation, cleaning, and restoration of teeth.
- Assist the dentist in positioning patients comfortably and properly.
- Help patients feel relaxed and secure.
- Prepare instrument trays for a dentist.
- Manage patient anxiety and prevent complications.
- Make referrals to other health professionals when necessary.
- The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, excellent customer service skills, and be able to work independently while maintaining organization.
- Skills and knowledge related to dentistry or dental assisting are required, in addition to a professional appearance and the ability to work under pressure.
