Position Summary
As a Principal Product Manager for the eCommerce team, you will serve as a high‑level strategic product leader, operating at the intersection of business, technology, and customer experience. This role is designed to solve systemic product challenges and drive multi‑year strategies that cut across multiple teams.
In 2026, this position will build a platform to drive commercial outcomes and high‑stakes end‑to‑end journeys. You will define the "how" and "why" behind transformative initiatives—such as optimizing high‑frequency service models or unified commerce experiences—ensuring they deliver tangible business value while scaling seamlessly.
What You’ll Do- Define End‑to‑End Strategy: Own the long‑term product vision and multi‑year roadmap for complex, cross‑functional initiatives from inception through to global rollout.
- Drive Strategic Execution: Lead high‑stakes, end‑to‑end projects—such as high‑frequency service models or fulfillment optimizations—requiring deep integration across engineering, operations, and marketing.
- Optimize the Ecosystem: Identify and resolve systemic friction points in the eCommerce funnel, including search, discovery, checkout, and post‑purchase experiences.
- Data‑Driven Innovation: Champion a culture of rigorous experimentation (A/B testing, hypothesis‑driven pilots) to validate new business models and maximize ROI.
- Mentorship & Best Practices: Act as a "force multiplier" by mentoring other PMs and establishing best‑in‑class product management frameworks across the organization.

Experience:
Typically 7–10+ years in product management with a proven track record of shipping complex, large‑scale eCommerce or digital retail solutions. - Strategic & Analytical Mindset: Proficiency in analyzing market trends and customer behavior metrics (AOV, Conversion, CLV) to inform high‑leverage product bets.
- Mastery of Influence: Exceptional ability to lead without formal authority, navigating diverse teams and bridging the gap between technical requirements and business goals.
- Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of modern software architecture, APIs, and eCommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Salesforce Commerce Cloud) to effectively collaborate with engineering leads.
- Customer Obsession: Deep empathy for the end‑user, with a focus on creating seamless, intuitive digital experiences that solve real customer problems.
- Resilience in Ambiguity: Ability to thrive in fast‑paced environments, managing multiple high‑priority work streams and adapting to shifting market dynamics.

Minimum QualificationsOption 1:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related area and 9 years’ experience in product management. Option 2: 11 years’ experience in product management or related area.
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related area and 8 years’ experience as a product manager, ideally working on consumer‑facing, large‑scale, highly complex B2B/C products. Experience in creating inclusive digital experiences, knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly is highly valued.
