Bookkeeper

Description

+ Manage daily accounting operations using SAP, including accounts payable/receivable, job cost tracking, and project billing.

+ Process and reconcile construction-related invoices, vendor payments, and payroll.

+ Track and report project expenditures, budgets, and committed costs for multiple job sites.

+ Assist with month-end and year-end close, preparing journal entries and account reconciliations.

+ Collaborate with project managers and field personnel to ensure accuracy of job costing and forecasting.

+ Maintain organized financial records compliant with internal policies and audit standards.

+ Generate standard and custom financial reports for management review.

+ Support implementation and optimization of SAP features for company accounting workflows.

+ Contribute to ongoing process improvements as the accounting department grows.

Requirements

+ Proven experience as a Bookkeeper in construction, real estate, or a related field.

+ Hands-on proficiency with SAP (preferred) or similar ERP/accounting software.

+ Strong understanding of construction job costing, billing, and compliance requirements.

+ High attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational ability.

+ Ability to work independently and in a team, adapting to a fast-growing environment.

+ Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred.
