Vertu Vauxhall Sunderland

Join our team at Vertu Vauxhall Sunderlandand become a valued Service and Maintenance Technician.

We are offering a basic salary between £29,200- £45,000depending on skills and experience. This is based on a 42hour working week with NO WEEKEND working!

If you haven’t previously worked with our manufacturer, or have equivalent training with another brand, that’s no problem. We provide full manufacturer training to help you excel and develop your career with us.

Your role as a Vehicle Technician is crucial in delivering an exceptional customer experience, built on trust and honesty. You will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing vehicles to the highest standards. Your expertise across all aspects of the job will be essential, from straightforward servicing to complex repairs. Quality workmanship and achieving first-time fixes are core values that guide everything we do.

The salaries we offer are dependent upon skills, experience and accreditation; however you can expect the below:

  • Prep Technician – up to £36,440
  • MOT Tester– up to £36,440
  • Service and Maintenance Technician- up to £37,700
  • Service and Diagnostic Technician - up to £40,220
  • Senior Technician - up to £42,740
  • Master Technician - up to £45,000

To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications and skills:

  • A relevant formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3
  • Current experience as a Vehicle Technician
  • Your own set of tools
  • A full UK driving licence
