The Job You’ll Do;

* Reporting to the Production Manager

* Responsible for a team of between 8-12 staff

* Overseeing day-to-day manufacturing and workshop operations, ensuring production runs smoothly

* Responsible for the recording of working hours against production jobs.

* Ensuring all H&S and ISO processes are adhered too.

* Allocating jobs to employees

* Regularly assessing training and ability needs.

About You;

* 5+ years’ experience in a similar role within a fast-paced manufacturing/engineering environment

* Willingness to be hands-on the shop floor if needed

* Lean manufacturing experience is beneficial

* Valid FLT license is desirable but not essential

* Experience welding or using hand tools (power/pneumatic) is desirable

* Health and safety awareness is essential

* Ability to read engineering drawings

* Strong attention to detail.

* IT Literacy
