Annual Salary: £40,000-£43,000

Day-to-day of the role:

Complete planned maintenance activities across multiple disciplines.
Provide technical responses to equipment and facility breakdowns to minimise downtime, adhering to safe working practices.
Liaise with engineering teams on projects and improvements to support manufacturing with process changes.
Maintain and update the CMMS system to create and execute preventive maintenance plans.
Support equipment failure analysis and implement corrective actions to reduce downtime.
Provide effective reporting, including 3C's and data collection.
Manage stores and ordering of parts, ensuring maintenance systems are updated and data is recorded accurately.
Identify and eliminate waste within maintenance processes and raise issues to minimise cost and quality impact.

Required Skills &

Qualifications:

Minimum HNC in an engineering discipline (electrical preferred) or completion of a recognised apprenticeship.
Previous experience in a similar role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment (automotive preferred).
Proficient in mechanical and electrical systems with an understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics.
PLC programming and troubleshooting skills.
Knowledge of manufacturing control systems (MCS) and experience with injection moulding equipment.
High standards of workmanship and meticulous attention to detail.
Strong communication skills within the department and with the wider team.
In-depth understanding of maintenance safe systems of work, including lockout/tagout procedures.
