Blackfell Primary School - Cleaner

Cleaner – Part Time

Part‑time – 12.5 hours per week, all year round.

The Headteacher and Governors are seeking to appoint an experienced cleaner to join our school cleaning team. Duties will include general cleaning, vacuuming, polishing, dusting, mopping, and using an electric floor polisher. Familiarity with commercial cleaning techniques is useful, though training will be provided. Contracted hours will mainly be after the school day, but other times may be requested.

• Experience with general school or commercial cleaning tasks
• Knowledge of cleaning equipment, including electric floor polishers
• Willingness to work flexible times after school

The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore requires a DBS check from the Disclosure and Barring Service. Online searches may also be carried out for shortlisted candidates.
