Pay: £28,000 to £30,000 per annum (DOE)

Location: Covering our Care Homes in the North East

About Orchard Care Homes: Orchard Care Homes has over 15 years of experience, running 23 care homes across the North and Midlands. All homes are 100% CQC good and focused on individual outcomes.

Job Role: To provide regional maintenance service across several Care Homes in the North East. This includes:

• Carry out repairs and redecoration across the Orchard portfolio.
• Maintain all records, checklists and documentation for each home.
• Escalate any issues to the Home Manager and/or Team Leader.

About You: Qualifications and skills required:

• Trade background with suitable qualification.
• Numeric and good record‑keeping skills.
• IT literate – use of email and app‑based technologies.
• Clean driving licence with flexibility to travel.
• Health and Safety knowledge.
• Approachable and friendly, able to work as part of a team.
• Experience of cyclical maintenance including regulatory checks.
