The Job You’ll Do:
* Plan, coordinate, lead, and monitor the design and launch of product development initiatives, including motors, system controllers, embedded software, support products, and customer-specific projects.
* Collaborate directly with customers, sales teams, and product management to define requirements, develop solutions, and provide ongoing product support.
* Develop and manage project cost estimates and schedules, ensuring deliverables are completed within approved budgets and timelines.
* Facilitate regular project status meetings and design reviews, providing clear and accurate progress reports to management.
* Oversee and support the work of design engineers assigned to the project.
* Drive projects through all required stages
* Maintain comprehensive project documentation
* develop detailed engineering specifications.
* Identify and implement improvements to enhance the project development process.
* Support test engineering in defining initial production test equipment requirements and procedures.
* Collaborate with manufacturing and test teams to troubleshoot and resolve design-related issues encountered during production.
About You:
* Qualified to Degree level or above Bachelors degree and 3+ years relevant industry experience.
* Experience with in power electronics or embedded control products - desirable
* Demonstrated understanding of electronics, software development and mechanical design.
* Demonstrated project planning, leading, organizing and tracking skills.
* Demonstrated knowledge of good engineering practice and experience of following Product Development Cycles
* Effective verbal and written communication skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills.
* Accuracy and good organizational skills
