Clockwork Education have been approached by a lovely, welcoming school in Sunderland to assist them to find a Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to support them with an immediate start.
The role will be starting immediately, on an ongoing basis, and will involve you working full days (08.30 - 3.30) Monday to Friday.
Teaching Assistant Responsibilities- Working within Key Stage 2 of the school to offer general support, some small group work and one to one work
- Recording evidence of children meeting targets
- Using own initiative to take the lead and to change activity plans if needed
- Experience of working with children
- Resilience and ability to deal with challenging behaviour
- Ability to provide 2 x educational based references
- Confident and experienced in working with small groups of children
- Excellent numeracy and literacy knowledge
- Good behaviour management
