This is a full-time, on-site Assessor role located in Consett. The Assessor will be responsible for evaluating trainees  competencies against established standards, providing constructive feedback, and documenting performance results. The role involves creating detailed assessment reports, supporting trainees in their progress, and coordinating with other educators and stakeholders to ensure a high standard of training. Additionally, the Assessor will assist in maintaining compliance with applicable industry regulations and standards.

• Strong assessment and evaluation skills, including the ability to measure competencies and provide constructive feedback
• Proficiency in documentation and report writing
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage and support trainees
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently
• Knowledge of industry-specific compliance and regulatory requirements
• Certification or qualification in assessment practices is preferred
• Previous experience in training or education roles is an advantage
• Previous experience in a health and social care environment
• Hold at least a Level 3 in health and social care or equivalent
