We are recruiting a Pastoral Support Mentor to work within a secondary school in Sunderland. The role focuses on supporting pupils’ emotional wellbeing, behaviour, and engagement with learning.
Key Responsibilities
Provide 1:1 pastoral support to pupils
Support emotional regulation and positive behaviour
Monitor attendance, punctuality and wellbeing
Work closely with pastoral leads and families
Help pupils remain engaged in school life
Experience working with young people is desirable
Calm, empathetic and resilient approach
Strong communication skills
Commitment to supporting vulnerable pupils

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
