The successful candidate will have a strong academic background in Law, holding a PhD or currently studying at PhD level, with sufficient breadth and/or depth of specialist legal knowledge to deliver high-quality teaching across core LLB Law subjects and/or SQE modules. The candidate will demonstrate recent experience of teaching Law at university level and the ability to lead undergraduate and/or postgraduate modules, ensuring academic standards and an excellent student learning experience.

Joining the Faculty provides the opportunity to contribute to this award-winning and research-active community with strong links to professional practice. Applicants will also have experience of assessment and feedback, online and blended teaching, and working collaboratively within teaching teams, including contributing to or leading team-taught modules. A commitment to professional development in teaching and learning is essential, including engagement with relevant teaching qualifications and recognition frameworks (such as Advance HE).

Experience in curriculum development and module evaluation is desirable and will be considered an asset.
