The Link School is recognised nationally as one of the leading schools in Alternative Provision. It supports the diverse needs of young people in Sunderland many of whom are extremely vulnerable and challenging. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and suitably qualified member of staff who has the commitment to improve the academic outcomes of our young learners, as well as supporting them in understanding their own emotions and the consequences of their behaviour.

English Teacher MPS UPRSEN1 – Permanent
The Link School delivers full‑time alternative education to learners across the City of Sunderland. We are seeking to appoint a dynamic, visionary practitioner to deliver high‑quality teaching currently deliver English, Reading, Maths, Science, ICT, PSHE, and Vocational Skills as part of our core curriculum.
As an English Teacher, you will be joining an experienced and supportive school that has a real drive to see our pupils thrive and feel prepared for adult life. You will have small classes which will enable you to personalise the learning for the pupils you teach, delivering English Qualifications across the school to GCSE level.
Are you an effective practitioner with a proven track record of improving outcomes for learners? Are you a teacher who can work with, and get the best from learners, who others find difficult or challenging? Would you enjoy working within a team where you will help learners find their confidence and rediscover their love of learning?
