Tates Travel, Sunderland’s leading independent travel agency, is looking for an enthusiastic and customer Travel Sales Consultant to join our award-winning team.

Full‑time and part‑time opportunities are available, with flexible working options to support a healthy work–life balance. This includes the potential for home working, as well as evening and Sunday shifts where required.
What you’ll be doing :Delivering outstanding customer service at every stage of the customer journey
Selling a wide range of holidays and travel products face‑to‑face, over the phone and via social media
Building and maintaining strong, long‑term customer relationships
Achieving daily, weekly and monthly sales targets as part of a high‑performing team
Using your destination knowledge and product expertise to create tailored holiday experiences
Promoting offers, generating leads and increasing engagement through social media
Managing bookings from initial enquiry through to customers’ return home
A genuine passion for travel and exceptional customer service
At least 1 year’s experience as a Travel Consultant
Strong sales skills with excellent communication ability
A positive, motivated and proactive team player
Confidence using social media to promote offers and drive engagement
Extensive destination knowledge and the ability to create and sell bespoke holidays
