Job Title

Job Title: Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant

Job Summary

Contract type:
Permanent. Working pattern: 10 hours per week during term time. Salary:
Grade 1 (£24,796 - £25,185) pro rata. Closing Date: 13 February 2026.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise children during lunchtime break in the dining room.
  • Help supervise and engage children in activities while they play in the environment.
  • Work as part of a team responsible for securing safety, welfare and good conduct of children during lunchtime break.
  • Listen and respond appropriately to children’s needs and follow instructions from school staff.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Successfully completed an enhanced DBS disclosure.
  • Pre‑occupational health check completed.
  • Association declaration recently disqualified by association or similar exclusion check.
  • Compliance with data protection principles and council policies:
    Freedom of Information Act 2000, Equal Opportunities Code of Conduct, Child Protection Policy, Health and Safety rules.
  • Awarded a Grade 1 permanent qualification within the school support role.
